Yellow. The paint is not original, she was repainted in 1993
and is still excellent with no crack or chips. Original 289
V-8 Automatic with Factory Air. The car has Styled Wheels
with fresh rubber, GT style grill with Driving lights.
Interior, Carpets and all chrome are in excellent condition.
The car is registered as an antique here in Canada. The car
is originally from California, no rust or bondo, never seen
snow or rain and is stored in a heated, de-humidified,
temperature controlled garage.

1969 428 Cobra Jet Mach 1
(R Code). Currently running Genuine 429 SCJ engine with matching CJ C6 Trans,
built by Torquewinder Hamilton with 3000 hi-stall converter. Engine has DOVE-A 4
bolt mains block, 460 crank SCJ rods and Wisco flat top pistons. DOOR-E heads
have been extensively ported, O/size stainless steel valves, Harland Sharp
r/rockers, screw in studs, guide plates and hardened pushrods, solid custom
grind cam. Polished Offenhauser Tunnel Ram with 660 centre squirter carbs.
Engine currently stripped as importers parked the car in the rain and didn't
cover 'pots', consequently, water ran down into 3 bores causing pitting, so will
require new pistons/rebore and rebalance only, no other damage. Also with the
car is the correct, rebuilt 428 Cobra Jet engine (ready for assembly) with
choice of two FE C6 transmissions - one recently built, again by Torquewinder,
the other is a good, running box. Body is straight, minor rust in lower skins of
both doors (what 69 doesn't?). Interior is tidier than most I've seen of late,
but could do with a freshen up. Factory tinted glass, dual mirrors. Original
colour is Acapulco Blue. Car will need re-vinning as NZ regn lapsed while o/seas.
I have decided to try to sell 'stang before heading back to UK. If it doesn't
go, it will be packed in container with rest of household goods in 3 weeks.
FOR SALE: # 113 1966 Mustang Convertible - Shelby Replica. (Sold)
Details: 1966
convertible, Shelby replica. 4 speed manual. Not vinned but not a basket
case either. It needs rust repairs to the drivers floor, B pillar passenger
side, outer sills , bottom of doors, and a little on top of the seams around the
boot lid. The interior is in good condition, carpets are good, the dash panel
bezel needs replacing otherwise interior is very acceptable. The tyres and GT
wheels are in good order. The hood needs replacing and the power mechanism is
not going at present - suspect electrical problem only. The motor is very
responsive and powerful despite having a split skirt on a piston. It has
headers, a four barrel Holly, Cobra valve covers and air cleaner. Twin point
distributor. Gearbox is a little noisy at the main bearing. Brakes are discs on
front only. Generally it has a lot of good features and is what I would call a
good restoration project.

shaker, C4 transmission and 9 inch 3.5 diff. Monza red. One owner last 25 years.
Engine has been modified for increased output (450 bhp on engine dyno), but not
at the expense of reliability. C4 has been modified with a heavy duty kit.
Uprated Boss/HO rear brakes. 15 x 10 Mags with 275 T/A's on rear , and 14
x 8 mags with 245 Bridgestones on front. Bilstein shocks, HD Front springs and
F&R sway bars, Monty Carlo bar and strut brace. Rear window louvers. Totally
restored in 1980's and only needs minor work to recover to show condition. The
