Price: NZ$38,500 Listed: 25 August 2009 Updates: 14 Nov 2009 FOR SALE: # 685 1967 Ford Mustang Eleanor GT500E (Sold)
Details:
1967 Eleanor GT500E. Ford Racing Aluminium GT with 392
CID, 430 HP, 450 ft. lbs of torque @ 4000 RPM 750 -- CFM Carburettor NOS 175
System means additional 175 horse power with the nitros system giving this
Eleanor 430 HP plus 175 HP = 605 total Horse Power! Transmission: Automatic,
B&M, C-6. Front Suspension: Custom & Rod Motor: Rack & Pinion, Coil Over
Shocks, 11” Disc Brakes. Rear End: 9 inch, Cuirrie Enterprises 3.73: 1, Coil
Over Shocks, 4 Wheel 13” Disc Brakes. 17x 8 inch SC Cobra Wheels / Good year
Eagle F1 245/40ZR17 @ 10” Footprint. All body work was completed with
a Maier Racing Eleanor body, fabricated, molded & painted by Santini Auto
Body & Paint. Custom fabrication on the engine and suspension was done by
Kevin Priest at Hi Tech German Engine & Drive Train, with an "E" kit by
Mustang Depot of Las Vegas. At Santini Body Work, the car’s design process
took 18 months at the cost of $30,000. The Car was “Restomoded” by Pete
Santini in Garden Grove. Santini is famous, in the Hot Rod World for his
paint jobs. He has appeared on the show “Over Haulin” which is hosted by
Chip Foose. This Eleanor is the first Eleanor body that was designed
completely without seams, and was completely primed and painted on a 360
Degree Rotisserie. The Rocker Panels, C Pillar, Side Scoops, Rear Fender
Caps, and Rear Panels are all bolted and moulded on. This work is truly a
“lost Art” and was facilitated by a great Artist! The unique thing about
this Eleanor is the very hard to get, hand engraved signature of Carroll
Shelby on the Valve Covers. The Shock Towers were shaved (removed) and
reinforced. Custom Rod & Sport Rack and Pinion front suspension was added.
Heavy duty Coil Over Shocks were added to the front and the rear. The engine
is cooled with a double electric fan that is hung on an over sized “Be Cool”
radiator. This prevents taking drag off the engine power. The “Marchi
Pulley” system has one Serpentine Belt which gives the engine enhanced horse
power. The original interior of the car is black. The instrument panel
has been upgraded with a Speedometer that shows 160 MPH. A Sony CD player
has also been added. This Mustang also has a Shelby Cobra steering wheel and
a Glove Compartment signed by Carroll Shelby.
This is a professionally restored Eleanor Fastback in perfect condition. It can be trustfully driven anywhere. Price: US$89,000 obo Listed: 27 August 2009 Sold: 1 Dec 2009 FOR SALE: # 686 1968 Fastback 351C (Sold)
Details:
1968 MUSTANG FASTBACK "J". Running and driving.
Originally a "J" code 302, now has a 351C engine in it with Holley carb.
Auto. Trans. Power Steering. Fold Down Rear Seat Assy. (no speaker holes in
side panels or trap door). A/C (missing underhood parts). So. CAL. car from
day one!! Rust: some under battery tray...couldn't find any anywhere else.
Original rear quarters (slightly flared). 4 core radiator. Mallory dist. B&M
shifter. Dashpad is cracked, blinkers don't work. Clear CA. title. Less:
Radio; fold down seat latches; spare tire. BODY: There is almost no bondo
anywhere on this car. The floor pans and frame rails look fantastic (see
pics). Not even any jack dents on the frt. frame rails!!. The rear of the
left side frame rail has a torched small hole that the last muffler shop did
to bolt in the muffler bracket (idiots!!). The only previous body damage
that I can find is the left frt. fender has been changed (done years ago and
has a Ford replacement fender) and there is slight evidence of a small crunch
where the rad. core support meets the left fender apron is slightly
wrinkled-not too noticeable (see pics). Also the rear taillight panel has
been repaired near the middle (see pic)..can't notice anything from the
outside. Car needs a paint job. Had a sm. fire under the hood that was put
out quickly, hood is still good. Marti report here...
this car came with 16 options when new!!!
Price: US$14,900 (priced to sell) Listed: 27 Aug 2009 Updates: Feb 2010 FOR SALE: # 687 1986 GTHO (Sold)
Details:
1986 Ford Mustang GTHO. 5.0litre
(302cu) v8 ~ 25000kms since rebuilt. Edelbrock aluminium heads with 2.02
valves. 1986 was the first of the fuel injected mustangs which makes
this car very cheap to run compared to carburetted V8s. Mac headers,
Off-road H-pipe , Flowmaster 2 chamber mufflers, 2-1/2" all the way
through with no cats, between the exhaust and the heads this car has a
fantastic sound. Gearbox is a rebuilt hurst shifted T5. Diff is an 8.8"
LSD with 4.10 gears. The car has been converted to 5-stud (not cheap!)
and wears a set of 17" wheels from a 2004 Mach 1 mustang. The 4.10 gears
keep the car very lively however the 0.67 overdrive in the T5 means it
cruises at just over 2000RPM at 100km/h. Front seats are from a 1995
mustang - electric drivers seat .New black carpet - custom made for the
car .New cloth headliner - gives the car a newer feel than the old vinyl
one . The console has been removed to give the car a classic look like
the 60s mustangs - can be refitted as I still have it .A/C system has
been removed using a genuine ford kit, I still have the compressor and
possibly the radiator. (a/c radiator is damaged). Sony XPLOD cd head unit
.Rear spoiler from a 1993 mustang GT. Nose and hood are from a 1988
mustang .Car is painted grabber blue with a black stripe - paint is in
ok condition. The car also has a professionally installed mongoose alarm
with immobiliser. This car is easily used as a daily driver but also has
plenty of power to play with, very enjoyable car to own and drive. Will
be very sad to see it go. Definitely a lot of car for the price!

Price: US$14,000 Listed: 23 Oct 2009 Sold: 26 Oct 2009 FOR SALE: # 694 1968 Coupe (Sold)
Details:
1968 coupe. Black, 289 V8, automatic and blue
interior. It does have some repairs to front left side made by the previous
owner. It will need a complete new interior. It currently just has front
seats in, but everything else is in storage. Drivers seat will need
re-upholstering, but all other seats and panels are in good condition.
Transmission has oil leak, also a brake fluid leak, I just top them up once
in a while to drive it. The under side /frame is pretty clean and tidy.
There is a strip of rust just under the boot lid (on the inside) and a small
rust hole under drivers side door. The paint is ok but cracking on the
bonnet. The handbrake is there but missing pivot arm that mounts on back of
transmission. The car drives fine and runs sweet. The reason for selling is
we are building new house and need more funds to finish. Its a nice wee
driver but it does need someone to finish it off and enjoy it. I only drive
just to turn the wheels and keep the battery charged once a month. Car is
sold in as is where is condition. l.
