Ian Langley: My Mustang is a notch back assembled in
Dearborn on 6th June 1966. Painted in Emberglo Metallic with a cream
vinyl roof and options that came with her are - Ford air con, power
steering, Pony interior (interior decor group), full length centre
console, rear deck luggage rack, push button radio, vinyl roof,
day/night mirror, windscreen washers and wire wheel covers with
simulated knock off hubs. She was imported into NZ from Alabama in 2004
and owned by a chap in Wellington for 3 years. I have owned her for 8
years and it is is still in very original condition with all the extras
working. Just completed a major overhaul on the engine and transmission
and decided to take her for a run to Dunedin. She performed perfectly
and I am very pleased with her. What a nice car to drive !!!! |

John & Pauline
Dorking: Roush Speedster convertible. Full Stage 3
Roushcharged Speedster. Number 11 of only 100 made worldwide, and the
only one in New Zealand.
Getting older so going to give auto a try, while Mike, (the previous
owner and with a stronger left leg), experiences the Shelby sensation.
Shame my hair doesn’t blow in the breeze, but at least Pauline’s does!
Keep on bringing those Mustangs out where they should be, On The Road!! |

The 66 was imported in 1997 from previous one US owner of over 28 years.
Wayne Hills ( Mustang Guru) from Tauranga stripped down and completed a
body massage and paint, re-assembled using all original parts. Wayne
enjoyed the car for about ten years.

Graham & Sherilyn
Dakin: Built 3rd Jan 1969 in Black Jade with a 4V
351w & 4spd Toploader. Found in a California desert shed the car was
absolutely rust free and complete with all its original panels, and even
had a documented service history dating back into the 80's.
Imported 2009 the car underwent an extensive mechanical restoration,
panels tidied and aligned and a complete repaint in Ford Screaming
Yellow and complete new interior over the next few years.
Recent recondition and warm up of the original 4V engine (replacing a
temporary 2V Cleveland), and addition of a beefed up AOD to improve
highway driveability as we love to use the car every weekend. |
