National Convention 1999

The 20th National Mustang Convention was hosted by Taranaki Club in New Plymouth.

The order of events was;

Friday: Registration at the poolside lounge of the Quality Hotel from 7 pm.
Saturday: Mustang car show at the TSB Stadium.
Saturday Night: Social Hour and Hangi at the Fred Tucker Hall.
Sunday: Dual; Sprints at Connett Road.
Sunday Night: Prize giving and Dinner at the Quality Hotel.
Monday: Mystery Run at 10 am, from hotel to Hickford Park for BBQ lunch and farewells.

Attendance by the various clubs was:

Auckland: 17 cars
Waikato: 3 cars
Central regions: 2 cars
Taranaki: 31 Cars
Manawatu: 22 Cars
Canterbury: 13 Cars

Total: 88 Cars
